The foundations of transfusion medicine encompass jurisprudential principles, human rights, and bioethics, which provide the scientific and practical justification and establishment for this medical process. This article aims to examine and elucidate these foundations to create a legal and ethical framework for transfusion medicine. This research analyzes and examines the jurisprudential rules, human rights principles, and bioethics related to transfusion medicine. Each section is examined separately, and the connections between these principles and rules are explored. Data is extracted from authoritative jurisprudential and legal texts, as well as scientific and ethical research. The results indicate that jurisprudential rules, such as the rule of beneficence (ihsan), the rule of ownership (taslit), and the rule against harm (la dharar), directly affect the legitimacy of transfusion medicine. Furthermore, human rights principles such as human dignity and the right to health are recognized as the basis for protecting individual rights in this process. Finally, bioethical principles such as respect for autonomy and justice are considered key pillars in the management of this medical practice. Establishing a comprehensive and coherent system in the foundations of transfusion medicine, based on jurisprudential rules, human rights, and bioethical principles, can help improve the quality and fairness of this process. This research serves as a basis for developing precise policies and guidelines in this field.
